Position Summary
Bush Hog, RhinoAg and Dixie Chopper are among the most recognized and successful brands in the Agricultural and Outdoor Power Equipment industries. Painter is a key position in the Company and will support and contribute to the company goals of profitability, return on investment, inventory turnover, and accident prevention. The Painter will hang and take down parts from the painting conveyor belts that are necessary for the production of Bush Hog products. Move, select, organize and prepare parts before and after the powder painting process. Review list and inspect parts for correct sequence in conveyor systems. Fasten and secure parts to ensure that they are safely painted through the powder coating process. This position will work under general demand of the assembly department through work orders. Operate heavy machinery for the purpose of safely transporting products from and to the powder coating area.

- Hang and fasten parts into the painting conveyor system
- Inspect parts for missing welds, weld splatter and weld quality prior to sending unit into paint system
- Retrieve parts that will be needed for powder painting
- Ensure correct products and quantities enter and exit the conveyor system
- Meet painting needs for all assembly departments
- Ensure quality control in all parts before and after the painting process
- Transport heavy materials through the use of Dollies, Pallet Jacks and other equipment
- Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor
- Capable of performing standard measurements using geometric tools (Tape Measure, Protractor, etc.)
- Basic math and reading skills needed
- Minimum dexterity required for use of hand and power tool
- Ability to operate under pressure
- Ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds alone and 100 pounds with assistance
- Have good communication skills, both verbal and written
- High School diploma or GED required
