Position Summary

The Record Management Specialist III is responsible for the timely processing and record keeping of all documents, statements and daily functions related to Record Management. The specialist responds to specific requests by searching, locating, retrieving, and delivering records or information through established procedures and delivery systems in a timely manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with Deposit Services, Digital Channels, Information Services, Accounting, Fraud, BSA/AML, Vendors and Clients to resolve any processing, reconcilement discrepancies, and disputes.
  • Process COLD Report and Image storage.
  • Create CD’s for long term retention and understand retention plans.
  • Create Image CDs for Commercial Customers.
  • Responsible for sorting and distributing interdepartmental mail to branches and mail hub centers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software problems.
  • Interface with other departments to resolve issues.
  • Assist with the development of data monitoring approaches to support risk monitoring and mitigation
  • Develop and implement corrective measures to reduce risk
  • Serves as a backup when the Records & Quality Manager is not available.

Education & Experience

Knowledge Of

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong decision making, analytical, and problem solving skills

Ability To

  • Work with little supervision
  • Interact with bank associates and vendors
  • Verify quality of output
  • Meet deadlines on a continuous basis
  • Lift up to 30 pounds

Education & Training

  • Requires High School diploma; associates, bachelor’s or business appropriate certificates preferred
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in typing, data entry, spelling, and grammar.
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people in a professional manner.
  • 3-5 years of related back or accounting experience preferred

Compensation And Benefits

Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.

(Base Pay Range: $22 - $29/hour)
