Busek is seeking an experienced MES / Manufacturing Execution Specialist to manage and optimize our production operations using Manufacturo. The role ensures accurate, real-time tracking of manufacturing processes, supports quality and compliance standards, and drives efficiency across our aerospace manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the shop floor and enterprise systems, enabling seamless production planning, execution, and reporting.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Manufacturo to support manufacturing workflows and production schedules.
- Track production in real time, including work orders, resource allocation, machine utilization, and operator performance.
- Ensure full traceability of components and assemblies, supporting AS9100, ITAR, and other aerospace compliance requirements.
- Integrate MES data with ERP, PLM, and quality systems to streamline reporting, metrics tracking, and decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to implement new processes for prototypes, R&D projects, and dual-mode system programs.
- Support process improvements through analytics, KPI tracking, and root cause analysis of production issues.
- Train and support shop floor personnel in MES usage and best practices.
- Maintain accurate production documentation for customer audits, internal reviews, and supplier interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of experience with MES systems, preferably in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with Manufacturo or similar MRP/ERP systems.
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards, including AS9100, ITAR, DFARS, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in dual-mode propulsion or space component manufacturing.
- Familiarity with CMM inspection systems, GD&T, and quality data integration.
- Exposure to digital supply chain tools, dashboards, and manufacturing analytics.
