What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Ambassador Housing Village position at Busch Gardens Williamsburg?
As the Manager of Ambassador Housing Village, you’ll oversee and manage daily Ambassador Housing Village (AHV) operations in order to deliver exceptional service as you and your team assist our International Student Ambassadors to on-board, acclimatize and enjoy their stay at the AHV. This important role involves leading and inspiring a great team as well as managing the business and maintenance aspects of the AHV along with planning and recruiting.
What you get to do:
- Manage and oversee Ambassador Housing Village facilities and operations
- Manage daily operation of International Programs including: interviewing and hiring international participants, on-boarding and remain in compliance with government policies and procedures for international participants
- Act as point of contact with all sponsoring agencies and assist with planning and communication
- Plan and execute cultural activities throughout the year
- Provide HR policy guidance to all program participants
- Perform other duties as assigned including conducting site visits at multiple properties

- Carry out leader responsibilities including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
- Strong computer skills with experience using HRIS systems, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Work a flexible schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
What else is important:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience with visas and international programs highly desirable.
- 2 years of leadership experience is required
Salary : $50,500 - $63,900
