What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Transportation/Bus Driver position at Bus Barn?
FULL TIME - 12 MONTH POSITION - FULL BENEFITS
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE. SOME NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS POSSIBLE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalency
- CDL – Class B, with a P & S endorsement is preferred but not required to apply. Will train if needed.
RESPONSIBILTIES

- Ability to perform all essential job functions
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional relationship with students, faculty, administration and community patrons
- Operate the school bus in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life
- Maintain district vehicles and equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds to shoulder height occasionally
- Ability to push / pull a minimum of 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to perform lawn care and landscape maintenance
- Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently as well as regular bending and standing as needed in a daily shift
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn facilities systems
