Scope: To provide safe and efficient transportation for students and staff
Reports to: Transportation Director
Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age; High School Diploma; Strong interpersonal relationship skills
Performance Responsibilities:
- Obtain CDL Class B requirement, air brake, passenger and school bus endorsement
- Complete required training programs for certification in a timely manner
- Obtain DOT medical examiners certificate
- Pass required physical examination
- Comply with requirements regarding drug testing and accident reporting
- Possess accident and violation free driving record
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip checks on vehicle and equipment
- Handles emergency situations in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Establish rapport and maintain effective and positive contact with parents, staff and students
- Assists with trip activities as needed
Terms of Employment: As defined by letter of agreement
Hours: M-F 7:00-8:15am and 3:00-4:15pm
