Hourly Rate: $80/hr
What You’ll Do
Burwood Group is seeking a Contract Sr. Project Manager with a focus in Organizational Change Management to lead a critical transformation project for a major client in the freight industry. This long-term contract focuses on a large-scale initiative requiring hands-on change management expertise and operational oversight. The ideal candidate is structured, detail-oriented, and able to drive alignment across stakeholders, teams, and users.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end to end project delivery across client initiatives, safeguarding quality, scope and profitability
Creating and maintaining comprehensive project roadmaps, milestones and success metrics
Managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources for Burwood Group or client projects.
Tracking progress, risks, and dependencies while reporting to leadership and governance bodies.
Develop process and templates for stakeholder analyses, impact assessments, and readiness evaluations.
Assist with strategies to identify change risks and develop mitigation plans.
Design and implement adoption metrics, KPIs, and sustainment strategies.
Provide guidance on communications planning and enablement strategies to ensure lasting behavioral change.
Qualifications
Who You Are
- 7 years of experience leading complex technology and business transformation projects
- Proven experience building or executing Organizational Change Management strategies (ADKAR, Prosci, or similar frameworks preferred)
- Highly skilled in the development and execution of communications planning.
- Exceptional communication and facilitations skills, comfortable engaging with executives, delivery teams and end users
- Demonstrated capability in providing ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, or organizational changes.
- You are preferably versed in managing work in both Waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks
- You have at least one Project Management-centric certification, preferably PMP or CSM
- You are competent in building presentations, process value mapping, workflow diagrams, and SOWs
Nice To Haves:
- Experience leading projects in the freight/logistics industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with CargoWise systems is highly desirable.
