Job Summary
Job Summary
Community Liaison, will establish and maintain communication between staff, students, and their parents in order to improve the students’ success in school. Under the supervision and direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services or designee. The Community Liaison will work with students and their families to address student issues that impact learning, encourage and coordinate parent education and involvement in various school programs and other activities; perform liaison duties between schools and parents; provide information on local agencies or school services to families as appropriate; prepare and maintain related records, translations, and reports. Bilingual preferred.
Requirements / Qualifications
Associate of Arts Degree and/or forty-eight (48) completed semester units of college/university coursework or NCLB certification (if applicable) Letter(s) of Recommendation Resume Fingerprint clearance and TB test are required upon hire
