Burton’s Plumbing is looking for a motivated entry-level General Laborer / Pipe Layer to join our team. No plumbing experience required — we will train the right person. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
What You’ll Learn
- Basics of plumbing systems and materials
- Pipe laying for sewer, water, and drainage lines
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Trenching, backfilling, and job site preparation
- Job site safety and proper work practices
Job Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with installations and repairs
- Lay and connect piping under supervision
- Load, unload, and organize tools and materials
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
