We are currently seeking a Grinding Operator to join our team at our Woodland, WA facility. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company with a rich history and a bright future. Come grow with us!

As a Grinding Operator, you will work in a manufacturing environment to help produce commercial saws used across the wood processing industry. You will play a key role in meeting customer demands and production targets by ensuring high-quality, precision-ground components.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Pay range: $20.00 - $23.00 USD Hourly

How You Will Make a Positive Impact

• Review and follow manufacturing orders (MOs) upholding quality control standards
• Load and unload saws from multiple grinding machines
• Set up machine parameters per customer's specifications
• Basic programming and adjust tip grinders
• Identify and change grinding wheels
• Collaborate with technician to trouble shoot minor machine problems
• General cleaning of machines and area, adding coolant to machines when needed
• Cross-train to other positions as requested
• Actively participate in LEAN training as requested, provide observations and suggestions, implement continuous improvements, and promote and adhere to safety standards of the company
  
  

The Value You Bring

• Must be at least 18 years old or older 
• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Machine Operator, preferably as a Grinder Operator
• Work well with coworkers to troubleshoot problems
• Able to accomplish daily work requirements to meet customer demands
• Ability to speak and read English, and do basic math
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
