LPN licensed practical nurse or RN (Registered Nurse) Responsibilities:
- Admitting new residents
- Assigning and delegating duties to non-licensed nursing staff
- Monitoring resident care and supervising other nursing staff
- Performing ongoing assessments of residents’ physical and mental health
- Explaining procedures and treatment protocols to residents
LPN licensed practical nurse or RN (Registered Nurse) Qualifications:
- LPN License
- Patience, Compassion, Kindness
- Critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of infection control practices
- Observational & Communication skills
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules
