Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Estimator role located in Nashville, TN. The Junior Estimator will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects by analyzing specifications and drawings. Responsibilities include researching materials and labor costs, collaborating with internal teams, soliciting and reviewing vendor quotes, and preparing detailed project proposals. The role also involves assisting in the planning, budgeting, and tracking of project costs to ensure successful completion within financial and time constraints.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate costs and quantities accurately.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Experience with computer-based estimating tools and software, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment and meet project deadlines.
- Prior experience in the construction or electrical industry is a plus.
