Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities
- Previous multi-family property management or construction experience preferred.
- Coordinate the turn process of vacant apartments into market-ready apartments, ensuring units are prepared efficiently and to company standards.
- Complete resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform groundskeeping and snow removal duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, and colleagues.
- Demonstrate an energetic, personable, and professional attitude at all times.
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents and team members.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic and reliability in all assigned tasks.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies, responding promptly to urgent situations.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications Include:
- Demonstrated aptitude in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge/skills.
- Ability to complete tasks associated with the physical upkeep of the community, including but not limited to grounds maintenance, building repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
