CNC Specialist
Looking for an experienced individual to set-up, program and operate CNC Milling Machines. This person should have experience in CNC milling and NC programming. Job requirements below.
- Program toolpaths using best practices to ensure proper surface finish and tool life. This includes an understanding of feeds, speeds, chip load, step down, step over, depth of cut, toolpaths, etc. Set-up and operate 5-axis and 3 axis CNC machines. This includes setting up the proper tooling offsets, picking up the part, loading and modifying programs.
- Final inspection of steel parts using dial indicators, depth gages, micrometers and calipers.
- Plan machining using work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, 3D models, machine parameters, etc.
