Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, assess, and support multiple environments and platforms
- Perform hands-on development, root cause, and defect analysis
- Ensure secure code development and identify performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay updated with new application releases, features, and industry best practices
- Ensure adherence to information security standards
- Evaluate the viability of emerging products and technologies
- Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams
- Maintain knowledge of overall application infrastructure
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
Experience
- 7–10 years in Java/JEE-based applications and development
- Application development or support experience
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC
- Experience with full stack technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, Maven, Microservices, SOAP/REST)
- Experience with GIT and Git workflows (gitflow, pull requests, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
