Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer, Agentic Interactions to join the Agentic AI team in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience building and deploying production-grade LLM-powered systems, with a particular focus on multi-agent systems, tool orchestration, memory, planning, and agent-driven UI interactions. This role will involve designing scalable agentic systems, developing modular AI skills and tools, and partnering with product and implementation teams to solve complex customer challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Agent System Design: Design and build multi-agent systems with tool use, memory, routing, planning, and long-horizon task execution capabilities.
• Agent Skills Development: Develop modular Agent Skills and tools that integrate with backend systems, models, APIs, and data processing workflows.
• Front-End Agentic Interaction: Build front-end architectures with explicit state and action models that enable reliable agent-controlled UI interactions and deterministic workflows.
• Evaluation & Observability: Create automated evaluation frameworks, telemetry, prompt testing, regression testing, and reliability metrics to improve agent behavior over time.
• Cross-Functional Problem Solving: Partner with product, implementation, and engineering teams to apply agentic AI solutions to customer challenges.
• Continuous Innovation: Explore and implement new LLM technologies, agent frameworks, and best practices to improve the scalability and reliability of agentic systems.
  
  

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience: 5 years of progressive experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade machine learning or LLM-powered systems with end-to-end ownership
• Skills: Advanced software development skills in Python, experience building and productionizing machine learning systems, hands-on experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, and multi-agent systems, experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure, familiarity with Git source control management, experience with observability, prompt evaluation, telemetry, regression testing, and reliability metrics, and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. security clearance preferred
• Up to 10% travel may be required
• This is a full-time onsite role in Pittsburgh, PA
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying complex agentic systems using LLMs
• Experience with multi-agent coordination, routing, and tool orchestration
• Experience with Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agent SDK, or similar frameworks
• Experience building agent-driven front-end architectures with state and action models
• Familiarity with Claude Code and GenAI coding best practices
• Startup or entrepreneurial experience, especially scaling products from zero to one
• Current U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one
