Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create mechanical designs, assemblies, skid weldments, and project drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Develop P&IDs, functional logic, component selections, and other engineering documentation to support mechanical and electrical designs.
• Communicate directly with customers throughout the design and fabrication process to confirm specifications, address questions, and keep projects on schedule.
• Manage project progress from design review through release, procurement, fabrication, testing, and completion.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, production, purchasing, and fabrication teams to identify and prevent project delays.
• Inspect equipment and perform functional testing to verify designs and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design, fabrication, or system issues that arise during or after production.
• Research and correct system design flaws and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
• Develop customer system operation manuals and supporting technical documentation as needed.
• Escalate major design changes, costly additions, or financial concerns to appropriate leadership.
• Maintain accurate project tracking and communicate project status, issues, and deadlines to customers and internal teams.
• Support successful project completion while maintaining strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
