Piping Designer - Sanitary Piping

Burrow Global is currently seeking an experienced Senior Piping Designer to join our engineering team in Deer Park, TX.

As a Senior Piping Designer, you will bring your experience working on projects in the Oil & Gas pipeline, sanitary Piping for compressor stations, and Module Layout areas.

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Utilize advanced expertise in Oil & Gas pipeline design, Sanitary Piping compressor station design, and Module Layout to develop comprehensive and accurate design packages.
• Prepare and update Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), general equipment layouts, facility plot plans, and detailed equipment and instrument lists.
• Assist in developing Project Scopes, Engineering/Design Scopes, and Construction Scopes of Work to support project planning and execution.
• Conduct thorough research, verification, illustration, and documentation to ensure drawings meet project and industry standards.
• Perform field verification as required to confirm existing conditions and support accurate design development.
• Review, check, and revise drawings to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and quality.
• Maintain organized file structures and manage design packages throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate effectively with vendor partners, internal project teams, and client representatives to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CadWorx, and Bluebeam.
• Associates Degree in Drafting or Design preferred.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma.
• 15 years of experience in piping design.
• Strong drafting ability and project organization skills.
• Ability to follow instructions from project engineers while being innovative in problem-solving.
• Experience with design preparation tasks such as piping plans, sections, details, and isometrics.
• Attention to detail in design drawing layouts and P&IDs.
• Active TWIC Card is needed
