In this role, you will be responsible for providing nursing services, including administering medications, conducting health assessments, and maintaining accurate medical records. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to clients through various methods according to service line requirements.
- Perform thorough nursing assessments, including physical and mental health evaluations.
- Document medication administration and nursing assessments accurately in adherence with service line standards.
- Conduct medication administration reviews and collaborate on medication management for housing clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their medication needs and requests.
- Verify client data and medical history, ensuring all preliminary requirements are obtained.
- Complete required documentation timely, facilitating effective client care and safety plans.
- Serve as a resource for nursing and medical issues, managing infectious disease control and hygiene practices.
- Participate in required meetings and perform related duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
- Graduation from an accredited practical nurse program.
Additional Qualifications:
- Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, and fingerprint check.
- Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
Physical Requirements
- ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
