What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Center QAQC/Commissioning Manager position at Burr Computer Environments, INC?
The CxM is responsible for liaising between the Engineering and Construction Teams to provide a more focused approach to the Cx Process during installation and startup. The CxM should have a basic knowledge of MEP Commissioning and Construction processes, an ability to communicate with contractors and vendors to obtain documentation and coordinate tests, able to prepare for and run Cx Meetings, schedule vendor support, effective in QAQC inspections and tests for MEP systems, able to review MEP inspection and test documents, and coordinate startup and testing of electrical and mechanical equipment in a datacenter environment. The CxM should be very well organized, self-motivated, and able to work with a team in a high-paced/high-pressure environment. The CxM shall be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, etc.), BIM 360/ACC or similar construction management software, CxAlloy or end user ACMS as necessary, and be flexible to learn new software technologies to maintain proficiency in the field.
