We are currently looking to add an experienced Marine Electronics Technician to our team.
Burr Brothers Boats, Inc. is a full-service boat yard located on Sippican Harbor in Marion, MA. We employ 40 skilled technicians to service yachts up to 65 feet. The focus of our operation is to provide maintenance, repair and renovation to customers who wants to keep up the value of their boats and enjoy trouble free boating. Qualifications:
- Must have 3 years of experience as an electronics technician, or equivalent skill.
- Familiar with major navigation system brands, such as Garmin, Raymarine, Furuno, Simrad, etc.
- Ability to interact with customers.
- Knowledge of marine wiring, installations, troubleshooting.
- Well versed in DC & AC power and charging systems.
- Boat handling ability is not required, but is a plus.
- Must have a valid license, reliable transportation and live within a reasonable distance.
- Starting pay will be based on experience. Pay increases are based on demonstrated skill.
- NMEA and ABYC certifications preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Recommend, design and discuss marine electronics installation packages directly with the customer.
- Install, troubleshoot and repair marine electronics, charging systems, wiring, etc.
- Continuous learning about product types. Attend manufacturer information sessions/training. Obtain certifications as needed.
- Maintain battery charging during the offseason.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
