Your key duties:
- Contribute to the progression and delivery of structural engineering projects
- Undertake structural engineering analysis, design and calculations
- Participate in project meetings
- Assist in the documentation of structural engineering designs
- Assist in oversight of projects in construction
This role will require the following:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in structural, civil or architectural engineering with an emphasis on structures
- Coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design, advanced reinforced concrete design and earthquake engineering
- Revit and 3D modeling skills (Rhino, SketchUp, etc.) are a plus
- Interest in the built environment
- Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Hourly rate of $22 to $32 per hour depending on level of education and geographic location
