The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a passionate, culturally responsive, and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team for the Extended School Year (ESY) Summer Program. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic progress and social-emotional growth during the summer months.

Program Dates:
July 1, 2026 - August 11, 2026

One additional workday prior to the start of the program will be scheduled on June 30 to allow staff time for preparation and planning.

Program Hours:

• Student Hours: 8:15 AM - 11:15 AM
• Staff Hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Special Education Certification
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborative approach to working with related service providers
