Food Service Worker/School Bus Monitor

The Food Service/School Bus Monitor will be responsible for assisting the food service operations and ensuring the safety and well-being of students during transportation. This dual role requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a positive experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Service Duties:

• Assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals to students.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the food service area.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in food handling.
• Support dietary needs and accommodate special requests.

School Bus Monitoring Duties:

• Supervise students during transit to ensure safety and order.
• Assist with loading and unloading students safely.
• Monitor student behavior and address any issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and bus drivers
• Verify student use of seat belts and assist with securing or removing belts

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or working with children is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in various situations.
• Basic knowledge of food safety regulations is preferred.

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
