Burnside Infrastructure LLC is a leading civil construction contractor specializing in earthwork, underground utilities, and concrete infrastructure. We are committed to safety, quality, and delivering projects on time and within budget. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Superintendent to join our team and oversee field operations on our civil construction projects.

The Civil Superintendent will be responsible for the daily management, supervision, and coordination of all field activities related to earthwork, utilities, and concrete construction. This position plays a key leadership role in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for earthwork, utilities (water, sewer, storm), and concrete scopes.
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient project execution.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Interpret and implement project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to track production, report progress, and resolve field issues.
• Maintain daily logs, track labor and equipment hours, and prepare field reports.
• Attend and lead job site meetings, toolbox talks, and coordination meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve field issues and conflicts in a timely manner.
• Mentor and develop crew leads and field personnel.
  

• 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in civil construction (earthwork, utilities, concrete).
• Strong understanding of site development, trench safety, grading, compaction, and concrete placement.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with technology (e.g., project management software, tablet/phone-based reporting).
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
