Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Superintendent role based in Indianapolis, IN. The Superintendent will oversee daily construction activities and ensure projects are completed in accordance with established timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors and staff, maintaining safety protocols, coordinating schedules, monitoring materials and equipment, and resolving any issues that arise on-site. The Superintendent will also be responsible for ensuring accurate project documentation and clear communication between all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong project management and organizational skills to oversee construction schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Experience in team leadership, subcontractor coordination, and fostering strong communication among project stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and relevant building codes.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and high-quality project execution.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools. Procore experience preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Indianapolis, IN and manage day-to-day operations effectively.
- Relevant experience in tenant improvement or new construction is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
