POSTED ON 4/9/2026

Description

The Marketing Program Manager plays a critical role in developing and scaling high-impact marketing programs that support enterprise priorities and enable more effective, consistent pursuit execution. This role is designed for a marketing professional who understands the pace, complexity and stakes of pursuit-based environments and can translate that experience into programs, tools and best practices that improve pursuit effectiveness, consistency and win outcomes.

This individual will lead and orchestrate a portfolio of marketing programs, including pursuit marketing enablement, go-to-market efforts and enterprise enablement platforms, driving alignment across teams, consistency in execution and measurable impact.

Partnering closely with marketing leadership, brand, content and go-to-market teams, this role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, bringing discipline to how work gets done while enabling teams to move faster and smarter.

This individual brings a strong balance of strategic thinking and operational discipline, delivering programs that are well-designed, adopted, scalable and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of enterprise marketing programs that improve consistency, efficiency and effectiveness across pursuit and go-to-market activities.
  • Build and scale pursuit marketing enablement programs, including frameworks, templates, tools and best practices that support high-quality, repeatable execution.
  • Translate pursuit marketing experience into structured, usable resources that teams can adopt in real-world scenarios.
  • Drive adoption and utilization of marketing programs and enablement platforms by aligning stakeholders, simplifying workflows and reducing friction.
  • Partner with marketing, sales and business development leaders to identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities across the pursuit and marketing lifecycle.
  • Define program goals, success metrics and adoption targets; track performance and continuously refine programs based on insights and feedback.
  • Establish and maintain program roadmaps, governance models and workflows that support scalability and consistency.
  • Collaborate across brand, content, digital and go-to-market teams to align outputs with program objectives and business priorities.
  • Lead change management efforts tied to new processes, tools and ways of working—driving clarity, communication and sustained adoption.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase speed-to-market, content reuse and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain playbooks, standards and documentation that elevate marketing and pursuit maturity across the organization.
  • Provide regular updates and actionable insights to stakeholders on program performance, adoption and impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field required.
  • 8 years of experience in program management, project management, or marketing operations.

  • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Direct experience in pursuit marketing, proposal development or business development environments is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and scale programs, frameworks or enablement resources — not just execute within them is strongly preferred.
  • Experience driving adoption of new processes, tools or platforms across cross-functional teams is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of how marketing supports sales, pursuits and pipeline growth is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements that drive measurable impact is strongly preferred.
  • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent initiative is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority is strongly preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with experience defining success metrics, measuring adoption and translating data into actionable insights is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level — connecting program design to execution realities is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, highly matrixed environments with competing priorities is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with enterprise marketing and sales platforms (e.g., CRM, content systems, proposal technologies) preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise initiatives, transformation efforts or capability-building programs preferred.
  • Ability to partner effectively with marketing, brand, content and go-to-market teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate priorities, manage dependencies and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to adapt to change and support continuous improvement.
  • Experience working in a corporate marketing environment, preferred.
  • Familiarity with marketing processes, workflows and integrated campaign execution, preferred.
