- Prepare and deliver reports, analyses, and presentations of financial data to support decision-making across multiple levels of leadership.
- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of financial data models and reporting solutions.
- Perform data validation, tie-out, and quality assurance activities in support of user acceptance testing and ongoing enhancements to financial data models and reports.
- Translate data requirements to practical usage for team members.
- Promote the use of modern analytics tools and reporting solutions by assisting others with data preparation, analysis, and visualization efforts.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders (e.g., IT, project teams, Finance) to support project and reporting needs.
- Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to financial data structures, reporting tools, and data governance practices within the finance domain.
- Proactively develop technical and analytical skills and share knowledge with team members and other finance resources where applicable.
- Support the creation of training materials and participate in knowledge-sharing efforts related to financial reporting tools and processes.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of four (4) years related accounting experience; extra credit may be given for public accounting experience.
- One year of additional credit given for CPA or MBA.
- Strong working knowledge of analytics tools, including Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with data analysis techniques, including identifying trends, patterns, and segmentation of data.
- Robust analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to leverage data to produce quantifiable business value.
- DAX and SQL experience is a plus.
