Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential customers through outbound calls, in-person interactions, and digital channels to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to recommend suitable vehicle options, including leasing plans and financing options.
  • Negotiate deals confidently, ensuring mutual satisfaction while meeting dealership sales targets.
  • Manage and nurture a robust sales pipeline by tracking leads, follow-ups, and closing deals efficiently using CRM software.
  • Upsell additional products such as extended warranties, service packages, and accessories to enhance customer value.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of current inventory levels, features, and pricing strategies to provide accurate information to clients.
  • Support inventory management efforts by coordinating vehicle availability, organizing test drives, and assisting with inventory control procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing clear explanations of sales processes, vehicle features, and financing terms while maintaining professional phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special offers and new vehicle arrivals through various outreach channels.
  • Participate in public speaking engagements or community events to increase dealership visibility and attract prospective buyers.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive sales or retail sales with a strong understanding of automobile features and specifications.
  • Demonstrated success in outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales, or high-end sales environments.
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity.
  • Proficiency with CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases.
  • Exceptional communication skills including phone etiquette, public speaking, and active listening capabilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices, retail math, and automotive finance options is preferred.
  • Experience with dealership operations such as inventory control, marketing initiatives, and sales support is advantageous.
