The Accounting Generalist is responsible for performing a wide range of accounting tasks to support the financial operations of Burning Red Brans.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining detailed records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including financial statement preparation and audit support.
- Utilize various accounting software tools such as Excel and NetSuite to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.
- Support tax-related activities by preparing necessary documentation for filings and audits.
- Perform data entry tasks with precision using 10 key typing skills and double-entry bookkeeping techniques to uphold financial integrity.
- Some experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Understanding of Accounting principles
- Strong knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite and Excel
- Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation and journal entries
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and internal control procedures.
- Excellent math skills coupled with strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and bookkeeping tasks.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new financial software tools
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and supporting audit processes.
