What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Driver position at BURNETTE FOODS INC?
Job Description: A Forklift Driver is responsible for operating the forklift in a safe manner while keeping the production line supplied with fruit. Works closely with the line supervisor, managers, and teammates.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Keeping the production line supplied.
· Keeping a log of raw materials for traceability.
· Moving raw materials.
· Stacking pallets and/or finished product in a warehouse.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
- Possible duties could include but are not limited to wrapping finished products, loading/unloading trucks, receiving fruit for the cooler/freezer, supplying the production lines with empty cans, and assisting the labeling lines with moving product.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Excellent attention to detail.
· The ability to sit, stand, and walk daily.
· Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills.
· Team player and willing to help others.
· Reliable.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. $17.00 per hour, depending on experience.
