Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure (water & sewer) construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Your leadership will drive project success through effective team management, meticulous planning, and proactive problem-solving. This is an exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget goals.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules coordinating timelines across multiple teams.
- Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, preparing estimates, and controlling expenditures with precision.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times.
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to guide project execution effectively.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project flow.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Lead project teams by managing schedules, resolving conflicts promptly, and maintaining high levels of team motivation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control measures, and safety compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and issues for stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
Experience
- Proven experience with infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a focus on water & sewer.
- Extensive knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies relevant to heavy civil or commercial projects.
- Strong background preferred but not required in construction estimating, contract management, blueprint reading, and project documentation.
- Ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent time management skills.
- Prefer someone with Hands-on construction site experience with a solid understanding of construction plans and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
