Are you a buyer who enjoys building supplier relationships, managing inventory, and keeping operations moving?
We are partnering with a growing international aerospace organization that is looking to add an Aviation Buyer to its San Antonio team. This position plays a key role in supporting procurement activities across North America while working closely with suppliers, operations teams, and internal stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, or technical procurement experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their career with a stable and expanding organization. Experience purchasing aviation, aerospace, MRO, aircraft, or technical C-Class components is highly preferred.
What You'll Do
- Source and purchase aviation and aerospace components, materials, and services
- Create and manage purchase orders based on demand and inventory requirements
- Monitor supplier performance, pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards
- Build strong supplier relationships and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Analyze inventory levels and purchasing trends to ensure continuity of supply
- Work closely with internal teams to support customer requirements and operational goals
- Assist with supplier evaluations, audits, and compliance activities
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to support procurement planning and reporting
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience
- Experience within aviation, aerospace, MRO, manufacturing, or a highly technical parts environment
- Experience purchasing components, inventory, materials, or C-Class parts preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working with suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis
- Experience with ERP, MRP, Dynamics, NAV, or similar systems is highly preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
