Join the Burnett Dairy Bistro crew, where the food is hot, the ice cream is cold, and the weekends are busy (in the best way).
IMPORTANT SCHEDULING NOTE: This position requires evening and weekend availability. Our Bistro closes at 5:30 p.m., so we’re not talking about late nights — but we do need team members who are consistently available to work afternoons through closing and on weekends. If you’re looking for daytime-only or weekday-only hours, this position will not be the right fit.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and serve delicious food and beverages — from our famous grilled cheese sandwiches to handcrafted pizzas
- Deliver friendly, efficient service to every customer
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily prep tasks
- Work closely with team members to keep things running smoothly in a positive, fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is required
- Ability to work through our 5:30 p.m. closing time
- Friendly, positive attitude with great customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a busy setting
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Previous food service experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person!
