Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Certified Personal Trainer at Burn Boot Camp's Edgewater, MD location. The Personal Trainer will lead high-energy 45-minute camp-style workouts and provide personalized fitness instruction to members. Responsibilities include training participants on proper form and technique, motivating clients to achieve their fitness goals, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and empowering workout environment. The trainer will also provide basic nutrition guidance to complement training programs and contribute to fostering a positive gym community. The trainer will be sales focused in wanting to grow the membership base and look to transform the lives of all those who walk through our doors.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction
- Experience leading group exercises such as Circuit Training and Fitness Classes
- Knowledge of Nutrition principles to support members' overall health goals
- Sports Coaching skills to inspire and motivate individuals of all fitness levels
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with members
- Passion for fitness, health, and fostering a supportive community environment
- National certification in personal training or fitness instruction (e.g., NASM, ACE, or similar)
- CPR/AED certification is required
