The Operations Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring that every member and prospective client experiences an exceptional, seamless, and motivating environment from the moment they walk through our doors. This role bridges the gap between daily gym operations, team performance, and the strategic direction of the Franchise Partner.
Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the Burn Ambassador team, supporting training staff, and managing full facility operations with excellence. This includes overseeing daily activities, ensuring operational efficiencies, managing software systems and data, executing strategic initiatives, and fostering the growth of the Burn Boot Camp community.
This position carries all expectations of a Key Burn Ambassador, with the additional responsibility of overseeing staff schedules, leading the FMA team, coordinating communication between the gym and the Franchise Partner, and ensuring the consistent execution of Burn Boot Camp standards.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Communication
- Manage, lead, and support the Burn Ambassador team through onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching.
- Conduct daily and weekly touchpoints to ensure alignment, efficiency, and strong team communication.
- Oversee the schedule for Burn Ambassadors and ensure coverage during all operating hours.
- Lead the FMA Team and facilitate monthly meetings.
- Serve as the main liaison between the Franchise Partner and the gym team.
- Provide feedback to trainers and Burn Ambassadors to ensure excellence in service and performance.
Client Experience & Membership Growth
- Organize and oversee client follow-up for both Burn Ambassadors and training staff.
- Resolve member issues that Burn Ambassadors are unable to address.
- Support the team in closing a minimum of 60% of trials and implement strategies to maximize member retention.
- Attend at least one community event per month and participate in philanthropic initiatives.
- Support the execution of the weekly Protocol and update the whiteboard accordingly.
Operational & Administrative Management
- Manage all data entry in Mindbody, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Troubleshoot system issues and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Work within the set budget to order office, cleaning, and equipment supplies.
- Remerchandise retail displays and perform monthly inventory management.
- Maintain organized records, systems, and checklists to ensure operational consistency.
Marketing, Social Media & Communications
- Post 2–3 times per training day on social media following Burn Boot Camp posting standards.
- Engage with all posts to boost community interaction.
- Help strategize growth opportunities to maximize category and retail sales.
- Manage and execute Emma email workflows and support all email-related needs.

Requirements
- Prior leadership experience (preferred in fitness, customer service, retail, or operations).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Availability for flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and special events.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and high-energy environment.
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
