What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Associate/Sales (Part-Time) position at Burn Boot Camp Columbus?
We are looking for an energetic and driven Front Desk Associate who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. The ideal candidate is confident in closing gym memberships, passionate about fitness, and eager to learn and embody our unique culture. We’re seeking someone who is looking for a long-term opportunity and is excited to grow with us.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, contributing to a team, and wearing multiple hats. You’ll work closely with the Gym Manager while helping create a welcoming, high-energy experience for our members.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for members and guests, delivering exceptional customer service
- Drive membership sales and confidently close new sign-ups
- Support daily front desk operations and administrative tasks
- Collaborate closely with the Gym Manager on additional duties and projects
- Assist with social media engagement and basic marketing efforts
- Contribute to a fun, positive, and motivating gym environment
- Work alongside team members on activities and initiatives both in and out of the gym
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a strong track record of closing
- Interest in and knowledge of the fitness industry
- Tech-savvy with experience using Excel and multiple systems/platforms
- Familiarity with social media platforms and engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Interest in growing within the company long-term
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time role (20–30 hours per week)
- Hourly pay, based on experience
