Hourly Career Major Tutor - Construction Trades
We are seeking an Hourly Career Major Tutor in the area of Construction Trades. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma and some college credit, as well as a vocational certificate and/or vocational training/work experience relevant to the Construction Trades field.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with instructors to enhance student understanding and mastery of course content.
- Provide targeted assistance to students, both one-on-one and in small groups, to reinforce learning objectives and practical skills in Construction related careers.
- Collaborate with Building Trades and Electrical instructors to enhance students' understanding and mastery of course content.
Requirements:
- High School diploma required
- Some college credit preferred
- Vocational certificate and/or vocational training/work experience relevant to the Construction Trades field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Criminal History background check
- Proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status
- Must be a NJ resident within one year from date of hire
