Assistant Property ManagerGrove City, OHBurlington Capital Properties is looking for the right individual to fulfill an exciting and rewarding career opportunity as an Assistant Property Manager in Grove City, Ohio. Qualified applicants must have previous customer service and/or leasing/sales experience, and tax credit experience is preferred. This full-time position requires availability Monday through Friday 9 AM to 6 PM, with some weekend hours possible.The successful candidate will:Follow and enforce policies and procedures that enhance on-site operationsAssist with daily operations at the propertyPerform leasing functions including greeting, touring and qualifying prospective residentsPreparing documentation and performing administrative dutiesCompleting move-in and move out proceduresInteract daily with prospective residents to achieve occupancy goalsActively promote resident retention, leasing & marketing programsParticipate in resident retention/relationsParticipate in all staff meetings and contribute to team effortAssist with LIHTC reporting and compliance:Complete Annual certifications, Interim certifications, EIV reports and discrepancy resolution, and various HUD and Tax Credit reporting requirementsCompliance accountability for all LIHTC and Section 8 rules and regulationsTimely collection, deposit & record keeping of all money as requiredRecord, report, approve & allocate expenses according to company guidelines & budgetREQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Two years or more of HUD/LIHTC and project-based Section 8 Housing experience requiredValid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record requiredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Bilingual PreferredMust have basic understanding of the English language, and be able to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writingAbility to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and the general publicInterpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member requiredBasic accounting/financial record keeping knowledgeBasic computer skills and proficient with Microsoft OfficeAbility to follow directives and work with minimum supervisionExcellent organizational skills are required for this positionIf you meet the basic requirements as outlined above, please apply here today!Competitive pay and benefits package will be discussed during interviews.
