What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biology Tutor position at Burlington Area School District?
Burlington Area High School is seeking an individual to serve as a Biology Tutor.
This position will be responsible for:
- Meeting 1:1 or in small groups to support student's conceptual understanding of Advanced Placement Biology concepts and material
- Set up weekly labs as needed to support the regular substitute teacher
This position is expected to offer 15 hours per week, through the end of January, 2026.
The wage is $25/hour.
The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's of Science in Biology or related, and/or an educational degree in secondary Science education. Teaching licensure is not required but is a plus.
