YOUR DAY AS AN ORTHODONTIC AND DENTAL SPECIALIST
In this Orthodontic and Dental Specialist role, you are primarily responsible for chairside orthodontic assisting, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and comfort throughout their treatment. You also play a crucial role in setting up and breaking down treatment rooms, as well as restocking operatories to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Additionally, you have the opportunity to showcase your expertise by making retainers and taking records, including x-rays, photos, and iTero scans. Your precision and attention to detail are essential in providing accurate and comprehensive records that contribute to effective treatment planning and monitoring.
YOUR SCHEDULE
In this dental assisting role, you work 27-40 hours per week, mainly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Mondays and or Thursdays are our nonclinical days where we have dedicated time for restocking, retainer making, and administrative setup duties. We have a special schedule where you work 10-hour days, giving you some flexibility. You're helping patients from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and there's time before and after to set up and clean up.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year of dental assisting experience
- CPR certified
- Up-to-date x-ray license
- Completed Infection control course
- Knowledge of Invisalign aligners and braces treatment is preferable
