Substitute - on call basis, as needed. Range 36 - Site Administrative Assistant - $ 30.14/hour Position Summary: Under the supervision of the site administrator(s) as appropriate, to perform a variety of technical and complex secretarial and clerical tasks; to be responsible for coordinating and organizing a specific set of functional activities within a work unit; and to do other related work as required. With an emphasis on the following Essential Duties: Demonstrates an awareness and sensitivity towards our diverse student groups regarding their academic, social emotional, and behavioral needs. Oversee and monitor student enrollment, transfers, student files, medical information, and immunization records. Operates and oversees daily attendance. Administer first aid as needed. Supervises students in the office as needed. Manages confidential information and responds to inquiries/gives out approved information within policy limits. Assist in promoting improved student attendance. Performs complex and technical secretarial and clerical work requiring accuracy and attention to detail. Prepares clear and concise reports. Accurately interprets legal mandates, District policies, rules, and regulations while applying them to a variety of operational procedures. Assume responsibility for routine administrative details. Establish and maintain comprehensive and accurate files and records. Assists in the development and maintenance of student records and files. Stores, distributes and maintains an inventory of educational materials, supplies, and equipment. Prepares a variety of information (e.g., attendance, anecdotal records, etc.) for the purpose of documenting student progress and meeting mandated requirements. May assist parents/guardians in utilizing community resources. May coordinate services of various agencies. May serve as a liaison between school and home.
