The Burlingame School District is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Director of Student Support Services to provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight for its K-8 Special Education and Student Services programs. Serving as a key member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet, the Director ensures district-wide compliance with state and federal regulations while managing a comprehensive continuum of student programs, including IEP/504 processes, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Counseling, Mental Health/Wellness initiatives, and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). This role acts as a vital liaison between school sites, families, and outside agencies to champion the academic and socio-emotional success of all students, requiring a Master's degree, a valid California Administrative Services Credential, at least three years of administrative experience, and five years of public school experience.

Valid California Administrative Services Credential Valid California Teacher Credential with certification to teach English Learners, Special Education Credential, School Psychologist, Inclusionary Specialist, or Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Possess/maintain a valid California Driver’s License Pass the BSD pre-employment DOJ/FBI Live Scan Fingerprinting & TB Testing
