Unlike traditional on-call substitutes, the Permanent Substitute is a site-based position with guaranteed work every single instructional day. You will report directly to BIS each morning, stepping into classrooms to maintain instructional continuity for planned absences, sudden openings, or providing target intervention and team support when all classrooms are covered.
This role offers exceptional stability, a consistent daily commute, and a unique opportunity to become an integral, familiar face within our middle school community. It is a fantastic stepping stone for educators looking to build deep relationships with BIS staff, administration, and students (grades 6-8).
