Role Description
Burling Wealth Partners is seeking a Wealth Advisor to join our growing team. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who can thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
The Wealth Advisor will identify and establish relationships with high net worth investor prospects, build an understanding of their financial goals and convert prospects to clients with assets under management. The Wealth Advisor will serve as a primary relationship manager for clients, recommending and building portfolios based on client investment objectives, integrating research findings and financial markets knowledge. The Wealth Advisor will continuously seek opportunities to expand client relationships and grow assets under management.

This role is principally in-person at our Chicago office, with remote work flexibility.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish relationships with high net worth investor prospects. Develop prospect pipeline and regularly conduct calls and meetings with potential clients.
- Manage client relationships by providing exceptional service, advice, and deliverables to assigned client families.
- Recommend and build appropriate portfolios consistent with client's objectives. Customize portfolios based on a holistic approach to client objectives.
- Collaborate across other functions (portfolio management, client service, marketing) to identify possible solutions for achieving client objectives and advancing business development.
- Create and track business development plans focused on onboarding clients. Grow client base by networking and generating leads and referrals.
- Ensure all advisory activities are in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- 5 years of prior investment sales and portfolio management experience serving high net worth clients required
- CFP, CFA, JD, or MBA preferred
- Excellent sales, presentation and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit and high level of self-motivation
- Detailed knowledge of investment concepts, terminology, products, procedures and applicable regulations
- Intellectual curiosity and a sense of humor
