Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and organized part time Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and delivering excellent customer service. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role will usually be approximately 3 hours a day, generally consisting of late morning / early afternoon hours, 4 - 5 days a week, but will vary depending on the auction schedule and business needs.

Duties

  • Provide clerical support, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Assist with customer service inquiries, addressing client needs in a professional manner.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and restock supplies as needed.
  • Act as a receptionist, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Assist with clerical duties related to auctions.
  • Light cleaning of the office.
  • Obtain county records and documents.
  • Assist with computer programs and social media.

Requirements

  • A flexible schedule to fulfill the dynamic requirements of our auction schedule. This opening is for daytime hours, however, there must be flexibility to be available a combination of morning and afternoon hours, depending on the business needs. These hours will be communicated well in advance.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to handle clerical tasks efficiently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience with a computer, including basic graphic design skills or ability to be trained.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of our clients.
  • Ability to work well as a team player.
  • Ability to work on auction sites in various environments.
  • Ability to be taught and learn computer and program skill.
