Job Overview
We are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance and quality control processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance . This position requires a strong understanding of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and the ability to lead a team effectively. We are looking for a person who may be stepping up from a Quality Engineering role to a management role or someone who has a few years of experience in managing quality assurance in an automotive stamping plant
Responsibilities
- Maintain quality management systems in accordance with IATF 16949-2016
- Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Oversee the development and execution of quality control procedures to monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in product quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage project timelines related to quality initiatives and ensure timely completion of all projects.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices,
- Analyze data from quality audits and SPC data inspections to identify trends and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics for senior management review.
- Understanding all print specifications, measurements, and fit/form/function of products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance or Engineering
- Proven experience in QA/QC roles within an automotive supplier manufacturing environment.
- Communicate and liaise with customers through calls, emails and customer portals
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in identifying issues and implementing solutions with other team members.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various departments and present findings clearly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
