Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize all guest accommodations, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas, following established cleaning protocols.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are met or exceeded.
• Perform floor cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels for each guest stay.
• Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to achieve optimal results.
• Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding their specific needs or special requests related to housekeeping services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and other janitorial tools.
• Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled windows.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work as needed for property maintenance or outdoor spaces.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Experience with cleaning surfaces using various detergents and disinfectants while adhering to safety protocols.
• Prior experience in outdoor work or landscaping is a plus but not required.
