Burkhart Plumbing is seeking Apprentice Plumbers to join our full-service team in North Idaho. You’ll work on residential and commercial projects—handling repairs, remodels, preventative maintenance, new construction, radiant heating, and snow-melt systems across Kootenai and Bonner counties. Responsibilities And Duties
- Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, water heaters, gas lines, and hydronic heating systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues using industry-standard methods and tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and local building codes.
- Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure long-term reliability.
- Maintain accurate work records—time, materials used, and job notes—as per company standards.
- Valid Apprentice Plumber license (Idaho)
- 2 years of plumbing experience.
- Solid mathematical and problem-solving skills; ability to accurately measure, calculate, and plan.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, working in confined spaces, on ladders.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Competitive compensation-- $25-$35 per hour depending on experience
