Burkhardt Physical Therapy Center LLC is looking for a Full-time Physical Therapist to work with our team in our location in West Salem, WI.
Our therapists specialize in manual therapy with extensive training in Fascial Counterstrain and dry needling, as well as other techniques they wish to concentrate in. We are a growing small business and currently employ five physical therapists as well as one PTA. Additionally, we have two full-time office staff members who handle all patient scheduling and billing, as well as part-time staff that does the cleaning, laundry, and general clinic upkeep. We pride ourselves on being able to offer a great work environment and flexible scheduling to create a positive work-life balance. Our team approach allows for mentoring of new employees with manual techniques including Fascial Counterstrain, Graston Technique, myofascial release, and dry needling.
The Physical Therapist is responsible for the provision of quality physical therapy services to patients of all ages. The provider works with the patient and treatment team to ensure that the patient’s goals and objectives are met. The provider maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform manual therapy as prescribed by the Board of Physical Therapy; develop, implement and maintain treatment plans; document patient care; update insurance companies on patient progress.
- Participate in patient education sessions to ensure optimal performance of services.
- Complete accurate documentation required by insurance companies and regulatory bodies.
- Complete appropriate assessments, measurements, tests, and observation as required by the state and insurance companies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state regulations regarding patient care.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures pertaining to the position.
- Adhere to all HIPAA standards as required by HIPAA regulations and privacy laws.
Skills:
Physical Therapy Licensed or eligible for Physical Therapy License, in the state of Wisconsin. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Strong written and verbal skills. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology. Decision making and problem solving skills. Team building skills.
